BUYING SHARES IN BERANGHI

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

If you would like to become a shareholder in the Beranghi Co-operative, it is advised that you:

First: Come and look at the Land.
All the photos and inspirational writings on this web site may have helped you to decide already but it is very important that you see it, feel it, smell it, touch it and taste it too. And of course, meet the people who are so far actively involved.

Second: Make an application via the form on this website, pay the deposit which will be refunded if you are not successful.

Third: Attend 2 general meetings and 1 working bee

Fourth: Write a letter of intro for our newsletter addressing the following questions
  a. Please describe your life in arts and/or your activities in permaculture
  b. Please describe your experience with Co-operatives.
  c. Please describe what you can bring to the Co-operative and what you expect from the Co-operative.
  d. Provide a sponsorship letter from a current member if available.
  e. State which village you would be interested in joining.

Fifth: Application is then Tabled at a GM.

Sixth: IF approved then a site may be applied for.

Seventh: Payment of the balance, levies and joining fee as set out in the rules and By-laws.

You have 1 month to pay in full following a successful application.
